Our School

Asahi Nihongo Language school it located in Fukuoka City and has been in existence since the 1st of August 1999. We are a cosy school with four classrooms.

During the day we teach mainly Japanese and in the evening German and English. Our Japanese teachers create friendly, interesting and diverse lessons to make learning easy and exciting.

In summer the average number of students is thirty per month and in winter fifteen. Classes are small with only three to seven students which makes for a comfortable learning environment. Students� nationalities vary widely with many students from Germany, Canada, Britain, Australia and America.

Due to these small class size your individual needs and wishes can easily be met. Most of our staff speak English and will always give quick and helpful assistance.

Our language school is situated in the heart of the fascinating city of Fukuoka. The city centre Tenjin, with its variety of shops and food stalls, is just a short walk away.

.Fukuoka, which is the biggest city on the southern main island �Kyushu�, is situated around 1500 km southwest of Tokyo. Various parks, greens and waterways give the city a friendly Mediterranean atmosphere. Located directly at Hakata-bay Fukuoka was and still is, regarding cultural and economic innovations, the northern gate of Kyushu.

Due to its favorable geographic location and friendly, open-minded people, Fukuoka is experiencing a period of dynamic growth. With approximately 1.3 million inhabitants and as the  8th largest city of Japan, Fukuoka is comparable to the size of Munich in Germany. Four distinctive seasons and similar climatic conditions to southern Europe make this area a nice place to travel all year long
