Marine Sports at Asahi Nihongo
We are the only school in Japan to offer marine sports in their program. Our instructor Alex has over twenty years experience and will guarantee you an exciting journey.

Sailing tour

Your private sailing excursion with our Instructor.
(No sailing experience necessary)

Options include:

  • Full day (6-8 hours)

  • Half day (2-4 hours)

  • Mini Safari

  • Sunset Sailing (1-2 hours)

We bring you to a domestic island, an uninhabited island or to a different harbor. During the sailing tour,  you can cool yourself off in the ocean, drink something and relax. (Do not forget some sun cream!)


Beach Activities & BBQ at Fukuhama Beach  (Top)




We offer different activities such as Big Mable, Mega Bowl or Windsurfing. You can play beach volleyball and soccer at the beach. After taking a shower, there is a delicious BBQ. On  most days  you can enjoy the beautiful sunset of Fukuhama Beach.

We meet every 2nd Sunday at 15:00 o'clock at the school and go together to the beach.

Costs: 3000 Yen + Transport (the trip with the Mega Bowl, Banana boot or Mega Bowl, as well as shower, BBQ and changing room are included in the price.

Fun course
We show you in an hour the fun and the fascination of Windsurfing!

Short course (3 Lessons)
You learn how to surf and do simple board turns.

Basic course (8 Lessons)
Become advanced at this fascinating never boring sport.

Japanese Cultural Activities ( Top )

Our school also offers many other interesting activities. Here we present just a selection of the activities we offer.
A current listing is available directly from the school, where you can apply for all activities and excursions.
 

Kimono fitting

I
n this activity you can learn how to wear a real Japanese Kimono and take a picture as a souvenir to show to your friends and family.

   
Japanese Manga Drawing

A professional teacher will show you how to draw Japanese Comics (Manga). Draw your favourite Manga character and have fun in the lesson.
   
Calligraphy

Take a brush and try your hand in the fascinating
art of East Asian calligraphy.
   
Origami

Everyone can fold paper planes, but have you ever tried to make a crane or frog from a piece of paper?
We can show you how to create these and many more!
   
Disaster Prevention Centre

Japan is a country with many active volcanoes, earthquakes, typhoons and Tsunamis. We will make a visit to the Disaster Prevention Centre to do some training on how to behave in case of a disaster. Also have fun experiencing the feeling of a (simulated) real earthquake, it is quite an experience!
   
Tea Ceremony

An introduction to ancient Japanese traditions. Invented in times of the Samurai warrior the uniqueness and precise rituals of the tea ceremony are still a great experience, even in modern Japan.
   
Fish Restaurant

Kyushu is well known for its fresh sea food. Visit our favourite restaurant with us, catch your own fish and enjoy the freshly served Sashimi.
   
Trip to Dazaifu

Visit Dazaifu with us, an old temple district well-known all over Japan. Not far from the city, located in a rural, natural environment, this famous village is one of the top attractions in the vicinity of Fukuoka.
   
Welcome BBQ Party

Enjoy yourself at our Japanese style BBQ-party, meet your classmates and make new friends.
   
Karaoke

Have a drink
or two and sing!
