Sumo Course
Come see a real Sumo tournament! Sumo is the traditional sport of wrestling in Japan and many ancient traditions have been preserved in sumo. Even today the sport includes many ritual elements. The Sumo tournament is held in Fukuoka once a year in November. Our Sumo Course will introduce you to the spirit and special rules of Sumo. During this course, we’ll visit Dazaifu Temple, the TOTO Factory (the most famous toilet company in Japan) and the Asahi Beer Factory.
