Our Internship Program

Asahi Nihongo’s internship program will give you the advantage of doing an internship will local companies and businesses in the Fukuoka prefecture, allowing you to participate in more demanding tasks rather than small chores in bigger companies in other parts of Japan.
Our friendly and professional staff will guide you throughout the entire process. In Japan, there are several special traditions and peculiar manners that need to be lean before a job interview. We will teach everything you need to know about working in Japan.
This experience will allow you to answer a few important questions for your future labor in Japan. Our dedicated staff members will show you the ways before, during and after the internship.
There are lots of international friends you can relate to during this valuable experience. Every Friday we hold special internship meetings, where everyone is able to talk about their experiences, share important information, and help you understand the journey better. You will be able to practice and improve your presentation skills in Japanese, you will also be able to participate in all events, parties, and integration activities held by the school.

Our Service

Short-term Internship | 1 - 4 weeks | Commission fee: 16.000 Yen per week

In the Short-term Internship you will learn about the basic structure of a Japanese company. During this Internship you will socialize with your co-workers and become acquainted with Japanese cultural rules and behavioral patterns.
The Short-term Internship is especially suitable for students with little time who want to gain special work experience and further improve their Japanese. It is possible to extend the Short-term Internship.

Long-term Internship | 1 - 6 months | Commission fee: one-time fee 63.000 Yen

You will be fully integrated in the Japanese internship company. Through this you will achieve a broad knowledge of the structure of Japanese companies and experience Japan’s culture and society in the most intensive way possible.
A Long-term Internship is the best opportunity to bring your Japanese skills up to a higher level and to demonstrate your abilities in a foreign environment.

Trial Internship* | 1 day | Commission fee: one-time fee 2,500 Yen

During a Trial Internship you will visit a Japanese company and get a small taste of working life in Japan. Furthermore you can test the Japanese you learned.
The Trial Internship is an interesting and surely extraordinary experience. If you like your Trial Internship, you may apply for a Short- or Long-term Internship at the same or some other company.

Remuneration

Depending on a students qualifications and required skills such as Japanese language Level JLPT2, university degree, working experience, special software skills etc. We can organize an internship with remuneration, such as board and lodging. However, in most cases our internships are unpaid.
