Terms and Conditions
Please read this Terms and Conditions when you apply for our programs.
1. Application and completion of contract
The application date is based, not on the date applicants send their application form, but, the date we receive it.
2. Application Conditions
(1) Minimum age for the Japanese course is 16 years old. Applicants under 18 years old are required to have a signed parental agreement form. We offer only host family accommodations to the students between 16 -18 years old.
(2) Minimum age for the internship program is 18 years old.
3. Expenses
(1)Expenses included in a Japanese course fee are:
Registration fee, Materials, Lesson fee, Tandem registration fee, Tutorial, ID card, Certificate, Lunch on the orientation date
(2)Expenses included in a internship fee are:
Internship commission fee (one time), Instruction for the interview, Lunch on the orientation date, Tandem registration fee,
Tutorial, ID card, Certificate(Internship durations over 3 weeks)
4. Discount
For returning customers, meaning students who returned to their home country and then returned to Japan, it does not include students that extend their course. We will give an introduction discount only after we confirm the name of the friend who introduced our course.
5. Payment
Term of payment is 100% in advance and received one month prior to arrival.
We accept bank transfers and Paypal. We only accept cash when you pay directly at the school.

If a student cancels after receipt of payment, we will charge a cancellation fee. The bank charge for refunds will be deducted from the refund amount. There are no refunds after the course starts, under any circumstances.
7. Change of Arrangement Charge
If a student requests to change their Japanese course, Internship, and/or accommodation due to personal reasons, we will try our best to meet the student’s request. In these cases, we will charge an adjustment fee.

8. Course Contract Cancellation
In the case we are unable to confirm a student's payment one month prior to their arrival, after a reminder, we will cancel their contract.
9. Disclaimer
-We bear no responsibility for following matters:
-If a student cannot get a passport, visa, or they are, for whatever reason, refused by Japanese immigration.
-If a student cannot get their visa in time or extend it after their arrival.
-If there is an act of nature or men (e.g. earthquake or terrorism), which compromises student’s safety and prevents courses from proceeding or students from attending.
-We accept no responsibility for accidents or trouble during a student’s stay in Japan.
-If a student causes any damage at their internship or accommodation, the student is responsible for the cost of damage. Also, if the school’s reputation or facilities are damaged because of the student, we will claim damages against the student.
10. Visa
We cannot guarantee the acceptance of your visa documents by the Japanese authority and thus bear no responsibility for visa obtainment
To apply for our internship program, students must send a copy of passport and visa with their application.
If a student will extend their visa during their stay in Japan, the student must check the procedure before their arrival.
If a student cannot extend their visa and cannot finish their course, we will not refund the course fee.
11. Internships
Internship placement is confirmed after an interview, which takes place after the student’s arrival.
Interns attend orientation on their first day and join an internship meeting every Friday at 15:30.
Interns need to submit reports and a thank you letter to their company to receive the certificate of internship.
12. Arrival and Transportation
If you arrive on Sunday or National holiday without a prior transportation service request, we may not be able to assist you with problems since the school is closed.
Please use a taxi if you didn’t request transportation service. Otherwise, if you get lost and our staff must come and transport you to your accommodation, we will charge 5000Yen.
13. Orientation
Every student and intern attends orientation on their first day. If you are returning customer, you have the option whether to join the city tour or not. Lessons will start the day after of orientation. If you booked private course, we will deduct one day from the course fee.
14. Group lessons
In the case you do not have a classmate, even if you booked a group lesson, we will change your lesson to a private lesson.
- Standard course 20 = 15 private lessons
- Intensive course+10 lessons = 5 private lessons
15. Changes to terms and conditions
These terms and conditions can change without notice.
16. Change of agreement charge after arrival
If a student requests to change their Japanese course, Internship, and/or accommodation due to personal reasons, we will try our best to meet the student’s request. In such cases, we will charge an adjustment fee.

17. Holidays
Japanese lessons will be closed Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays.
We do not refund lesson fees for national holiday or natural disasters that occur during the course.
18. Course start date
Course start dates are based on our school calendar.
For a student to arrange a different start date, they must:
1.Take a level check test before their arrival and pass with an acceptable score.
2.Take a private course until the lesson start date.
19. Effective date
These terms and conditions shall commence on September 1st 2010.
