Course Levels

Level 1- Beginner Starts Once a Month- Four Weeks
Minna No Nihongo 1
 This level is for students studying Japanese for the first time or for those who have studied a little Japanese before. In this course, you will learn basic Japanese including HIRAGANA, KATAKANA, and numbers. This is the most suitable level for learning tenses and simple conversation for traveling in Japan.

Condition: Level check test below 20%

Level 2 - Elementary Starts Once a Month - Four Weeks
Minna No Nihongo 1
 This level is for students who want to learn basic Japanese adjectives and verbs for basic conversation. In this course, you will learn grammar. At the end of this course, you will be able to take the grade 5 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Condition: Level check test 21% - 40%

Certificates: JLPT Grade 5 (N5)

Level 3 -Lower Intermediate Starts Every Monday- Four Weeks
Minna no Nihongo 2
 You can deal with predictable day-to-day activities. Basic communication is possible with plenty of assistance. You do not have enough language skills yet to cope with everyday problems alone, but you can manage simple daily life interactions, both commercial and social.

Condition: Level check test 41% - 55%

Level 4 - Intermediate

Starts Every Monday - Four Weeks
Minna no Nihongo 2

 You can deal with varied familiar everyday activities. You can make effective and independent use of the language in familiar situations. There are still many mistakes and gaps, but you can communicate and understand general messages in most contexts. The lines of communication are in place and working efficiently. At the end of this course, you will be able to take the grade 4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Level 5 -Upper Intermediate

Minna no Nihongo Chyukyu


 You can deal with simple keyword tasks. You manage easily enough in quite complex and demanding situations. There are lapses in accuracy in complex situations but communication is easily restored. At the end of this course, you will be able to take the grade 3 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Level 6 - Advanced

Chyukyu Kara Manabu
 You can deal with complex work tasks. You now have an excellent command of the language consistently fluent, accurate and well organized. You cope well with demanding and complex situations. At the end of this course, you will be able to take the grade 2 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Minna No Nihongo I ,II and Chukyu
These are very well-structured and easy-to-understand books for Japanese beginners or travelers in Japan who want to acquire basic knowledge of the Japanese language. Each book has 25 sections, which introduce new grammar through example sentences and dialogues, followed by a detailed explanation. After that, its usage is practiced through sentence-completion exercises and dialogues reflective of real-life situations. Every section finishes with additional practical exercises, which enable the student to check his/her progress. At the end of the book there is an overview of the grammar, which gives students quick access to pages one might want to review.The books are mainly focused on dialogues and expressions, which are used frequently in everyday life. The grammar part is usually presented and summarized in tables, making learning Japanese very easy and structured. Since all kanji are shown with their hiragana readings, learners can concentrate on the grammatical points. These books are designed for an introductory course in the Japanese language.

 Chukyu Kara Manabu
This is an excellent book for students with advanced Japanese skills. The book has 25 sections, each of which first introduces the new vocabulary, which appear in the text that follows it. This is followed by text that covers a wide range of subjects and interests. Then the new grammar is introduced, explained and practiced through sentence completion exercises. At the end of the book, there is a glossary where all kanji are shown with their hiragana reading. This book is for students who want to perfect their Japanese skills.
