12 Easy Steps to a sucessful Internship
Did you decide to choose one of the Asahi Internships? Then follow the Asahi Internship Program guide which includes 12 Steps to a successful, fun and enriching internship from selection to certification.
By following this guide we can make sure that you enjoy your internship here in Fukuoka and learn a lot working for a Japanese company!
| 1 | Select | Look through the available fields on our homepage and select a field of interest. |
| 2 | Contact | Complete the contact form on our site. |
| 3 | Estimate | We will provide information about the company and an estimate of the internship cost. |
| 4 | Paperwork | Send the signed estimate, a resume, document copies, and passport type photos (in a suit, no accessories). We provide translation or proofreading services for a small fee. |
| 5 | Interview Info | We contact the company with your information, arrange an interview, and confirm the interview with you. Don’t worry, if the interview is unfavorable, you don’t have to go home! We can arrange other interviews for you. |
| 6 | Payment | Payment must be received one month prior to the start of the internship. |
| 7 | Arrival | Orientation is on Monday, unless there’s a holiday, then it’s Tuesday. There, we will get students ready for life in Japan, give a tour, and double check Japanese levels. |
| 8 | Manners |

| 9 | Interview | Staff accompanies and helps students throughout the negotiations. |
| 10 | Worktime | Schedules are discussed at the interview or after the interview. |
| 11 | Meetings | We have internship meetings every Friday to provide support and advice throughout internships. |
| 12 | Certification | We can provide you with certification of your internship for university recognition. |
