Paid Internships

We offer paid internships in various fields throughout Fukuoka. These internships last for 12 months for students with a visa and 14 months for students without a visa, including a two-month training period. The first two months of a paid internship will be considered a training period and will therefore be unpaid. This is done to ensure that the internship placement is satisfactory to both you and the employer. This time will also be used by the employing company/organization to set up the intern’s health insurance and satisfy any additional visa requirements.

1		Marketing / Sales As an intern in this field, you will research, plan and create products for the Japanese market. 2		Education / Art In these internship placements, you will teach children and adults in your native language using the direct method. Click here for more information on internships in this field.
3		Financial / Development In these internships, you may be asked to do regular financial reports; post journal entries; conduct audits; do balance sheet reconciliation; manage physical inventory tracking; support the payment processing team; data entry and credit checks. 4		Translator / Proofreader In these internships, you will translate documents, promotional material or web pages from Japanese to your native language. 5		Sports / Culture In this internship field, you plan sporting events and matches, as well as provide training information. After carrying out each event you will write a report with pictures and post it on the company website. Click here for more information on internships in this field.
6		Technology / IT Internships in this field focus on designing, upgrading and maintaining the company’s website. You will also help to improve the website’s search engine optimization and assist with system level testing and verification. Click here for more information on internships in this field.
7		Tourism / Events As an intern in this field, you will plan, organize and carry out cultural activities and events. You will also handle questions and inquiries from clients and offer information about your activities and events. After each event you will write a report with pictures and post it on the company web site.
8		Media / Public Relations During this internship your tasks will be writing articles about interesting Japanese customs, tradition and experiments.You will also take pictures and upload them together with the articles onto web sites and social networks.
