Work 30 hours per week in exchange for free accommodation and two meals with a Japanese family.
As a beginner in the Japanese language, the “Work Experience Program” is much easier as one would expect. The student searching for work will be offered the opportunity to work 30 hours per week in a kindergarten or a language school in exchange for free accommodation, breakfast and lunch packages (Bento).
Since one would pay the same price for accommodation and food during the first month of our standard program, this new program will already pay off after only four weeks! Booking an additional language course is optional but our recommendation would always be to try and learn Japanese as much and as well as possible while looking for work in Japan.
The shortest period for this program is one month. The “Work Experience Program” is a great help and very convenient, especially for “Japan-beginners” without a Working Holiday Visa.
Our service includes:
– Transfer from airport to accommodation
– Two nights at a hostel or room share (own room available for extra charge)
– Free accommodation at a host family with breakfast and lunch package
– Preparation week (general information, work training, presentations)
– Assistance with getting a cell phone
– Free to use office space (desk, PC, internet access, printer, fax, telephone, scanner)
– Free and fun Japanese language tutorials
– Free participation in our Language Tandem Program
– Assistance with postal services in Japan such as forwarding packages and letters
– Contact people for all questions, guidance or possible problems during your whole stay
Optional language courses:
Standard Japanese language course: 20 lessons per week
Requirements:
– Age: Minimum 18 years old
– Certificate of Good Conduct
– Experiences: Not needed
– Language course: Optional
– English language skills: at least English IELTS 6.0
– Japanese language skills: at least JLPT N4 (ability to understand some basic Japanese) However, you can gain these skills in our language courses.
– Other requirements: Friendly, flexible, motivated, honest and reliable

Visa:
Since you will not get any salary, you can join our Work Experience Program with a Tourist Visa.
If you want to stay longer than 3 months, please make sure that you are eligible for extending your visa. You can contact us or the Japanese embassy in your country if you are not sure.
Price for our “Work Experience Program”:
Registration fee: 20 000 Yen
Work Experience in Japan from 1 to 6 months: 70 000 Yen
Prices for our language courses:
Language course with 20 lessons per week
First week: 49 000 Yen
Additional weeks: 30 000 Yen
