We had a brief interview with Sherilyn, a German university student who is doing an internship at Groundwork Fukuoka.
A: Hi Sherilyn, thank you for taking the time for this interview.
S: No problem.
A: During your presentations, we could hear that you speak Japanese very well. How long have you been studying?
S: It’s been 6 years now. I started in 2009.
A: How is your internship at Groundwork?
S: I like it. It’s very interesting. I have to do everyday work as well but I think this is normal for every company. I have also learnt so many things about Japanese culture and I’m able to work together with very nice people, so it’s fun to come to work.
A: Do you have a place in Fukuoka you would recommend?
S: I actually like Tenjin a lot because you can go shopping and there are game centers and lots of possibilities to eat food and spend your free time.
A: Thank you for your answers Sherilyn!
S: You’re welcome.
