Testimonials

We think it is important for new students, when choosing a school, to know what kind of students have already been enrolled. We can proudly assure you that our all of our students are marvelous people. They are very serious about studying Japanese and some of them have already studied in other schools, so they know what a good school needs to offer. The backgrounds of our students are remarkable. They are pilots, flight attendants and programmers at Lufthansa, doctors, business people, translators, manga fanatics and a lot of university students. As you can see in our school blog, they know how to enjoy Japan. Please read below some of their opinions about Fukuoka and our school.

I have been working at a Japanese import company from February 16 to April 3, 2015. Seven weeks went by so fast and I cannot believe that my internship is already over. I really would have liked to stay for a bit longer to learn more about the industry.

My time at Asahi Nihongo was so great. I love the teachers – they are so sweet. And I had so much fun during the classes that four hours in a row passed by like nothing. I really do not want to go home but all fun has an ending, right? See you next time.

Nina B. (Student, French, 2010)

I am studying Japanese at university but I wanted to improve my oral skills. I have been staying at Asahi Nihongo School for two weeks and had private lessons with Fukuda-sensei. Courses were really interesting and useful. Sensei’s explanations were clear, and I had a great time learning words and getting new experiences.

At the beginning of 2007, I decided to go to Japan to attend a language course. After doing some research, mainly on the Internet,
I contacted a German tour operator who pointed my attention to Asahi Nihongo in Fukuoka. The tour operator did an excellent job in advising and informing me about various other schools that offered language courses in Japan. In the end, I may justly say that I booked my course with Asahi Nihongo after having carefully weighed the pros and cons of all offers.
