What is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)?
The JLPT is a test anyone can take to prove their proficiency in the Japanese language. If you are a foreigner who wants to work in a Japanese company, you are often required to present proof that you are capable of communicating in Japanese effectively. That is why many companies demand you to pass a certain JLPT level.
When is the JLPT?
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test is held twice a year in Japan; the first Sunday of July and December respectively. Please check the following website for the exact dates: https://www.jlpt.jp/e/

How much does it cost?
Taking the test costs $40 for levels 3 or 4 and $50 for levels 1 or 2.
Note that you can only take one test per day, so you cannot register for multiple levels on the same day.

Deadline
