Internship Fukuoka Marcel D.

Today we talked to another student who did an internship at “Groundwork Fukuoka”.

Marcel D. is a 25 years-old student from Austria and worked at “Groundwork Fukuoka”, a NPO for about two months. His tasks were to help organizing events, translate texts from English to Japanese and do the marketing.

He was very satisfied with his workplace, because though the company was quite small, the colleagues were very kind and helped him with his tasks. Especially one contact person was responsible for Marcel’s tasks. According to Marcel, the difficulty of the tasks might rise together with one’s own Japanese level.

Working at “Fukuoka Groundwork” was a great experience for him and he got to know a lot about the rural Japan. He would also recommend such an internship for people who are interested in gardening and environmental work.

Thank you Marcel, for sharing your interesting experiences with us.
