If you study hard, like our students at the Asahi Nihongo school certainly do, sometimes you need to take a break after a long day of improving your Japanese.

On the weekend, around 20 pupils of the Asahi school went to an Izakaya in the Tenjin area to get some drinks and snacks and have some relaxed chats. After the first round of beer, everybody took some minutes to introduce himself or herself to the others to make sure that everybody knows each other.

People who haven’t met each other before laughed and drank together, a lot of new friendships and connections were made while everybody enjoyed tasty Japanese snacks and dishes.
A lot of people switched seats as well so at the end of night, everybody talked to everybody and the group of students got a lot closer to each other. This was definitely not the last time that the students and teachers enjoyed an Izakaya together so next time just come along!
