Today, students of the Asahi Nihongo school went to the owl cafe located in the Kawabata arcades near canal city. 

After a short introduction by the staff about where and where not to pet the owls, the student enjoyed a cup of coffee and a had a nice little chat. Afterwards, everybody gathered in the main area of the cafe where the owls where waiting for the customers. 

The students were able to touch and interact with the owls, even letting them sit on their shoulders or head was possible. Everybody immediately fell in love with the owls fluffy feathers and big cute eyes. 

Besides small and middle sized owls, there were big ones as well, weighing up to 2 kilograms. Those owls could be petted as well but letting them rest on the arm was really tiring due to their weight. 

After cuddling with a bunch of owls, the students finished their coffee and left the cafe with a smile on their face, what a really fun day!
